Bandcamp is the Revolution
A brand new website named Bandcamp might be the revolution of indie music as we know it. With this website, you can find some indie artists that you might actually like. It basically allows artists to have their own webspace to upload their music with cover art and all the info that is needed to make music enjoyable for the consumer. It shows the artist how many downloads somebody downloaded their music in a single day or month or year. It also shows how many embedded plays did the artist get and how many bandcamp plays the person got. Quite a revolution you may ask me. It may not seem that big right away, but if you take the time to browse the site for music, you will be impressed.

Dopeness!!!

Behind Me by Monk Da Villain
My boy Monk Da Villain released his final song on flash gaming site Newgrounds. He will still be making music though, especially since he currently is making his latest mixtape called Along Came Baxter EP which will be entirely produced by underground producer Baxter. This has that Lupe Fiasco fresh feel which is quite soothing. Check it here and download here.

Let's Do This! EP Production
For the production of Let's Do This! EP I have done quite alot of things. I have been using Google Docs to write my lyrics and access it on any computer. I am also using Adobe Audition to record and mix my vocals. I am using a Blue Snowball microphone to capture my vocals. I am also using iChat, Gmail, Skype, and AIM to communicate with other artists to add to some songs on the EP, and also to ask their opinions of the production on some of the tracks.
AER on a Pigeon
An underground rapper named Pigeon John is coming to AER to be interviewed. This will be a great opportunity for AER since we will get more listens by the underground rap community. Can't wait to interview him.

Nujabes Death
Just recently a famous Japanese Hip Hop Producer died on February 26. He died in a car accident during the Japanese Earthquakes. He had so much potential, but since he died, a lot of the international Hip Hop community has been mourning over his death. Since he died, I am going to be doing a 1 hour long dedication to him music on AER.

Glide OS 4.0
The newest Operating System called Glide is a very cool thing that was unveiled recently. It may seem just like another operating system, but this operating system is a bit different, it runs on the internet. Imagine it, a whole computer that can be accessed by your iPhone, Blackberry, Mac, Windows, Linux, whatever. If you join for the free membership, you will get 30 GB free. If you pay for it, you will get 150 GB. I think tis might be a big innovation in the field of technology.

Joey Keys on AER
I just recently said that Joey Keys got signed, but a big surprise was that he wanted to be interviewed by AER. We did the interview, and the good thing is that the interview will air this week at 5:00 pm anytime between Thursday and Friday. Tune in to hear it.

Bounty's newest promotional commercial
I just found this youtube video that bounty released. I thought it was funny because it is a parody of the style of rap that I dislike. When I asked friends of mine that are prominent in that style of rap, 50% of them disliked the bounty video. Just goes to show that your preference of music might affect how you view parodies.

Joey Keys is Signed
A few days ago I interviewed Joey Keys. It turns out a few days later he got signed. This is actually pretty amazing since not everybody gets signed in the music world. I am very proud of him actually. In fact since he got signed there has been a little change to his mascot that he has been using for his music.

Let's Do This! EP
I postponed this EP earlier in the year, but now I decided to bring it back at full force, with new people collaborating on it. I am mixing parts of this EP along with other people. I also have full permission of each of the instrumentals I use in this mixtape. I am planing on relaesing in March, April, or June, for I won't over occupy myself. This mixtape is going to go hard, and everybody WILL feel the repercussions.

NFX Beats a.k.a. Warbeats
This guy called Nelson Fernandez Jr. has a youtube account here, which he shows helpful things to progress on making music. His primary music production program is FL Studio, but the things he teaches can be applied to other music programs. Since he teaches some music theory, it helps to those who don't have that much music theory. He also gives his reviews on VSTs and drum packs to use on music programs. You can find his website here.

I am collecting cans
Well a few posts ago I said that I am trying to figure out how to get the Studio Projects C1 microphone. Well I figured out that the only way to get this microphone is to do odd jobs and recycling. Yes recycling. I know you only get 5¢ per bottle and the mic is $250, but after 3 months I will have $250. How you may ask? Well since each bottle is 5¢, I will need 5000 bottles and cans which can be reached if I do 10 cans a day for the next 3 months. If I do 20 cans and bottles a day I will be able to get the microphone in 1 month and a half. So if anyone wants to help just give me any cans and bottles you don't need. Thank you for the help.

Doesn't this microphone look grand?

New Facebook look
Well facebook has a new look, and I think its okay. I like how everything is put out on an easy to see layout. There may have been some complaints on the new layout, but that normally happens on an upgrade that any company gives out. This makes me wonder what type of upgrade that it's rival Myspace will imitate in the next few months.

Studio Projects C1
Recently I have heard good things of the Studio Projects C1 microphone. Based on other reviews I decided that $250 price tag was worth it. Now I'm in the process of figuring out how to buy it. Since one of my favorite artists uses that mic, it has convinced me that is a big jump from my Blue Snowball microphone.

FL Studio 9.0.3
The newest update of FL Studio (formerly known as Fruity Loops) is now here. It features new updates and more compatibility features. Unfortunately you can not run it on Mac, unless you use crossover or wine. You can find out more about the newest update of FL Studio 9 here.

Finally its here!!!
FL Studio 9 on Mac
As seen in this YouTube video, FL Studio 9 can actually be available on Macintosh computers. I think this is pretty flippin' awesome, and this could help push music to a more accessible crowd.

Reverbnation
I just recently found this site called Revernation, and I wanted to see what it was all about, so I joined and noticed that it was absolutely awesome. It allows distribution services to all the major online retailers like iTunes, Rhaphsody, Napster, EMusic, and Amazon.com. Of course you have to build a fan base, so Reverbnation can connect to whatever social networking size you use to advertise your music, like myspace, facebook, or bebo. It even allows for widgets to be added to your blogger for people to click and listen to your music. Check out Reverbnation to become fans of some underground artists you have or may not have heard of to get exclusive content from them.

Sphere of Hip Hop is Awesome
A few days ago I complained about not getting something I order, but now I am complimenting Sphere of Hip Hop for adding a cd that wasn't on their website. They literally gave me 7 cds when I set the order for 5. I honestly love how they handled my order, even though there were a few bumps in the road.

It's Harmless?
I guess not. Image-Line, the program that brought the awesome, but over used FL Studio (formerly known as Fruity Loops) just came out with a new synthesizer that sounds harmless in name, but is very lethal in features. You can find more information on their site here

The awesomeness of Customer Support.
I just recently made an order with one of my favorite music sites, but when I didn't receive apart of my electronic download I became disappointed so I sent an email to the customer support. Amazingly they responded back a few hours later and they cleared up the whole problem and they even sent the part of the electronic download that I was missing instead of avoiding the whole problem. That's what I call extremely good customer service.

"Braillebrizzy in the Place! Like This..."
Well, I've been going through a phase of trying to find the right sound of music to listen to. I have tried and I have failed. Then... in a flash of light... I have found... this...
Braille is an Underground Rapper that strives to tell a good message. He tries to bring this dream to the entire world. His latest album is an interesting title because "The IV" can be interpreted in many ways. One way is saying 4 because this is his forth album, and a great album I might add. Another interpretation of it is "International Vision" because as I said earlier, he tries to bring his dream across the world. Another interpretation is "International Version" because the producers of the instrumentals come from producers around the world. One last interpretation is a normal IV for Hip Hop because Hip Hop itself is dying.
