My boy Monk Da Villain released his final song on flash gaming site Newgrounds. He will still be making music though, especially since he currently is making his latest mixtape called Along Came Baxter EP which will be entirely produced by underground producer Baxter. Let's Do This! EP Production

For the production of Let's Do This! EP I have done quite alot of things. I have been using Google Docs to write my lyrics and access it on any computer. I am also using Adobe Audition to record and mix my vocals. I am using a Blue Snowball microphone to capture my vocals. I am also using iChat, Gmail, Skype, and AIM to communicate with other artists to add to some songs on the EP, and also to ask their opinions of the production on some of the tracks.

AER on a Pigeon

An underground rapper named Pigeon John is coming to AER to be interviewed. This will be a great opportunity for AER since we will get more listens by the underground rap community. Can't wait to interview him.

Nujabes Death

Just recently a famous Japanese Hip Hop Producer died on February 26. He died in a car accident during the Japanese Earthquakes. He had so much potential, but since he died, a lot of the international Hip Hop community has been mourning over his death. Since he died, I am going to be doing a 1 hour long dedication to him music on AER.

The newest Operating System called Glide is a very cool thing that was unveiled recently. It may seem just like another operating system, but this operating system is a bit different, it runs on the internet. Imagine it, a whole computer that can be accessed by your iPhone, Blackberry, Mac, Windows, Linux, whatever. If you join for the free membership, you will get 30 GB free. If you pay for it, you will get 150 GB. I think tis might be a big innovation in the field of technology.

Joey Keys on AER

I just recently said that Joey Keys got signed, but a big surprise was that he wanted to be interviewed by AER. We did the interview, and the good thing is that the interview will air this week at 5:00 pm anytime between Thursday and Friday. Tune in to hear it.

Bounty's newest promotional commercial

I just found this youtube video that bounty released. I thought it was funny because it is a parody of the style of rap that I dislike. When I asked friends of mine that are prominent in that style of rap, 50% of them disliked the bounty video. Just goes to show that your preference of music might affect how you view parodies.

AER Special Guests

Recently, many people famous have been visiting CHAMPS. But for what you may be asking? Well some of them are being interviewed for AER, our school's radio network. Some people who will be interviewed are Dave Grohl, Elvis Costello, and Pigeon John. This is actually pretty cool since our school is starting have celebrities in our small little school.

Ok, major news from NBA and Duck Down. NBA is looking for music for their newest game NBA 2K11. If you would like to join as a hip hop producer, you will need to make a sample free song. If you wanna join as a rapper, you will need to rap to the winning instrumental.

A few days ago I interviewed Joey Keys. It turns out a few days later he got signed. This is actually pretty amazing since not everybody gets signed in the music world. I am very proud of him actually. In fact since he got signed there has been a little change to his mascot that he has been using for his music.
